Shelli has more than 20 years experience in providing psychological services to children and their families. Early on in her career, Shelli worked in the Disability and Tertiary Education sectors and was also employed by the Child Development Service (CDS) where she assessed and treated children with complex developmental difficulties. Specifically Shelli’s expertise lies in the assessment and treatment of children with developmental, behavioural and emotional problems including Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Anxiety, Depression, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, Global Developmental Delay and learning/academic difficulties. Shelli has a special interest in the assessment of Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders and was trained internationally by leaders in that field. Shelli has undertaken research, and a number of these studies have been published in peer reviewed journals. Shelli continues to also be an active clinical supervisor.
